Singer, songwriter, producer and label executive Jay Riggs is currently the Director of Operations for the Multi-Platinum, Grammy Award wining team of producers, mixers, writers, arrangers, label and studio staff at new Indie label, Fifty-Fifty Music. The young music industry veteran began his career as a musician traveling and performing nationally. He found his passion in producing and record label operation, specifically business development and Artist Development. Jay was the co-founder and President of Unsigned Records in 1998. Since then, he has helped launch the careers of, worked with and produced many bands and artists such as new artists Rebekah Rhys, Brandon Briggs and Melissa Dylan, as well as The Avian Conspiracy, Nate Marialke, Limit 35, Core, Annie’s Apology and 39 Lashes just to name a few. Running label operations and working with so many great artists gave him the necessary platform, resources and opportunity to test and develop new ideas and concepts for today’s new music business. “I didn’t realize it at the time, but every different new or experimental concept I worked on personally and at Unsigned, with production, promotion, marketing etc… were all leading up to what we are doing now. Grammy award-winning, platinum credited mixer/engineer/producer, Charles Dye has one of the most impressive résumés in the music industry. Charles, a 17-year veteran of the music business has credits working with such names as Ricky Martin, Lauryn Hill, Gloria Estefan, Jon Bon Jovi, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Sammy Hagar, Jon Secada and more. He is known within the industry as a premier talent and authority in the world of digital recording, which is the standard medium of recording today. Digidesign, the company that makes the most popular professional digital recording system in the world, ProTools, has utilized Charles as a primary instructor for seminars around the entire world. Charles’ own DVD, Mix it Like A Record, is one of the best selling and most respected teaching tools on the topic of mixing available today. Charles is also a founding member of the Turn Me Up campaign, currently gaining fast, industry wide acceptance as a new standard in the quality of professional recordings. Charles is a Co-Owner and Director of South Operations for Fifty-Fifty Music out of Hollywood, Florida and is a Producer and Engineer.
Singer, songwriter and producer Dustin Ingham began his career at the age of 16 playing guitar, bass and singing backup vocals in Michigan band AG Silver. At 19, Dustin helped form the band Forever where he played guitar, sang and co-wrote. At 21 he began working with Unsigned Records helping to develop the A&R roster. Working with artists in the studio Dustin has also racked up credits as a writer, arranger, engineer and producer. As the founder of Independent Artist Media, Dustin worked as an independent Producer, specializing in Artist Development, in Palm Springs, CA. He is responsible for helping discover Brandon Briggs. Dustin currently manages the Fifty-Fifty Presence on the West Coast in Palm Springs, California.
