Brandon Briggs
Brandon Briggs was first noticed by Fifty-Fifty Music several years ago when the label was just beginning to test it's idea's and concepts for a new music model. West Coast Development Director, Dustin Ingham who at the time was A&R in Michigan, heard Brandon sing and immediately arranged a meeting with Jay Riggs, (Dir. of A&R at that time).
Jay heard the same thing Dustin had, a hit voice. They immediately worked out a development deal with Briggs and did some initial pre-production and recording. Things slowed down a bit as Briggs was finishing his communications degree at Grand Valley State University in Michigan and the label was going through the various phases and challenges of developing a new company model, testing theories and brainstorming new solutions for the new market.
Brandon, moved to Chicago and took this time to hone his songwriting and worked back and forth with producer Jay Riggs on his songs and lyrics. By the time he came in for the first album sessions, he was armed with a whole new level of material.
"We couldn't be more excited about Brandon's songs," said Producer Jay Riggs.
"This music is right up there with the Matt Wertz and Dave Barnes of the world, with a serious pop edge. We are looking forward to the national release.”
